We’ve sold our 500th story to the press!

Emma and Shaun's story about their free £20k wedding was our 500th story!

Here at Talk to the Press we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve sold our 500th story! Bride-to-be Emma Collins got in touch after being offered an amazing FREE wedding worth £20,000. Emma, 31, and her fiancé Shaun, 38, have been engaged for 14 years but could never afford the wedding of their dreams.

But the couple will finally get the chance to tie the knot after the local community clubbed together to give them the perfect day.

We sold Emma and Shaun’s heartwarming story to the News of the World (below). The story is also due to appear in Pick Me Up magazine – the 500th story we’ve sold since TTTP was founded two years ago.

‘I feel honoured that my story is the 500th,’ says Emma. ‘My experience of Talk to the Press has been brilliant. Everyone is so friendly and I was made to feel at ease from the very beginning. I was paid a fee for my story and I promptly received payment within days of it being published. Everything was dealt with so smoothly – it was completely stress-free.

‘Since my story appeared in the News of the World my fiancé and I have become local celebrities. I’ve had hundreds of well wishers congratulating me. It’s been amazing.’

Talk to the Press founder Natasha says: ’500 stories is a huge milestone for us and I’m glad we were able to help Emma and Shaun with their wedding story. Having now sold 500 stories, and won four awards (as well as reached the finals of two more), we’ve truly established ourselves. We are looking forward to helping another 500 people sell their story to the press.’
